So this is another quick post — with a drawing I did less than quickly.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is one of those old tropes.   It survives in discussion about organizations because of its metaphoric value.

The drawing represents my own view of the hierarchy at work.  If you lead people, pay attention to whether your team members would agree with all of these statements.
